top 7 goalie in the NHL the past 6 years is a all star and don't blame him for the troubles in the play offs his team didn't play well or dont ever in the playoffs
What playoffs where you watching the past 3 years? The guy blew up twice against Chicago! Blew up in the cup with a 2 game lead! Last year against LA!

Personally, I'd love to have Lou on the leafs. Just not at the expense of Gardiner. Kadri, sure as long not much else is added. If Philadelphia can out-bid us then let 'em. I'm fine with sucking this season, then at the TDL trading our UFA's (Connolly, Lombardi, MacArthur) for picks and start building our cupboards even more.
I still think Nonis is in over his head, we need a high-calibre GM and should be looking at adding one next summer.

Because he shouldn't be sold off before getting the opportunity to play at the NHL level, which he has shown he's probably ready for.

I still want Bernier. His ceiling, IMO, is that of an all-star. He's very athletic, has great reflexes, and has that 'swagger' that just bleeds confidence to the rest of the team.
Reimer, I don't mind, but he really relies heavily on angles. His reflexes are pretty bad (IMO) for a goalie. If he had better reflexes with his use of his angles, he'd be fantastic. I'm not writing him off, I just don't see him as a great #1G down the line.

Bernier hasn't shown much more than Reimer to this point. I wouldn't mind rotating the two if the price for Bernier wasn't insane, but it sounds like it is.
