Some of the more vocal people on the topic indicate that they think they aren't necessarily crashes in some cases. They refer to them as Donations, that some of the unmanned versions had been put down on purpose to share the technology or whatever. Grusch indicated at one point that some may have been shot down also. IDK sounds a bit convenient to me.

Also in terms of travel, it depends on the theory that you are referring to....some think they are from another dimension right here and not necessarily extra terrestrial.

I for one don't consider my mother and aunt to be liars and dillusional...so I will remain agnostic since I believe them personally but can't explain what they saw and have never seen it myself. Like it has been said..people need to remove the stigma associated with this phenomenon

The interdimensional hypotheses is an interesting one. I mean I like the analogy of the television....some amazonian jungle person can't fathom how broadcast waves can show a picture on a TV. You need the TV to receive the waves and broadcast the images.

The interdimensional thing is at least fun to think about.

Professor Garry Nolan from Stanford when he goes in on Neil Degrase Tyson is my new favorite part of this whole thing...there's multiple interviews where he just goes after Neil:

I really think we're nearing the end of times more quickly than I thought...if it wasn't enough to hear that by 2050 80% of the world, will experience water scarcity ...we have this oversized creeper bringing us closer to cyborgs with human consciousness. I hope him and people like Torts forget to back themselves up before they expire from this current dimension of human awareness

So pretty soon we'll be living in the world of Altered Carbon, eh? Crazy times we live in.

I'm surprised they were able to implant a Neuralink into a human...from everything that I read, it was basically melting down in primates and pigs and killing them with the metal/diods burning out on the brain. Something like 1,500 animal deaths.

Just had a surgery that will keep me home for about 2-3 days. What should I watch? Open to movies, shows, or even snails racing.

In no particular order:

The Joy of Painting
Altered Carbon
(about to happen)
The Court Jester
Some Beef War Videos
Behind the Music
Cheers

The entirety of Lost
First Descent (
great snowboarding DVD from way back)
Kingpin
Any random episode of Charmed

Interdimensional Multiverses is my jam. Everything Everywhere All At Once? Yes, please!

I'll also take the Altered Carbon "Life" Disk technology. Download this consciousness and put it, well pretty much anywhere it can still operate.
