Getos turn was actually the only thing that bothered me a little bit. It seemed like too drastic of a change, with too little to explain it. It wasn't necessarily that they did bad but it just felt "off" to me.

I rewatched the first season just before the second half of the 2nd started, so I'm not sure if I'd feel different if it wasn't as fresh in my mind. I'm really enjoying it so far.
Oh, I actually agree. It was shocking and maybe unconvincing. I'd be more onboard if it were more gradual instead of, "oop, guess he's a mass murderer now." But I was tuning in to see why he turned.

Did you watch the "Jujutsu Kaisen 0" movie and are you completely caught up with Season 2 (episode 15 was this past week)? I just want to make sure I don't spoil anything.

Haven't seen any of either.
I think I'd put Zom 100 into that mix as well. That one's been missing deadlines big time, though

Yep, I liked the movie. I think I'm 2 episodes behind on season 2

There are endless series out there that I want to watch, and I'm not really even that interested in anything before ~2010 or so (except Gatchaman, the GOAT).

OK, then you're probably safe but out of an abundance of caution I won't ask you what I was going to.

There's nothing I hate more than having things spoiled and I'd hate to accidently do it to anyone else.

Had a checkup with my Retina specialist last Tuesday. I’ve gotta get surgery to repair a retina detachment in my surgically repaired (has this surgery in April 2023) right eye…again. Dr found a shallow (just started basically) detachment during the checkup. Another week of being face down for 50 minutes of every hour that I’m awake is in my future.

***Insert Daryl from the Office GIF: “Yay”***

I’m awful at posting GIFs on this side and I didn’t want to upset people by my failure lol.

My wife's dad just had this done. I couldn't imagine going through something like that, sounds awful. God speed

Thank you!

Just those two words “retina detachment” sound like a horror movie injury/bludgeoning but it doesn’t feel like anything. Vision just became super blurry and shitty all of a sudden. It’s a good thing I like to read because I’d probably lose my mind having to lie face down for 95% of the day (for a week) without something to read.

But yeah, it’s not ideal. Usually only happens to older people but I had a workplace injury in the eye that now has a detachment back in 2005. Big chunk of concrete lodged itself in my eye. Now that hurt so f***ing much. I don’t recommend. That initial trauma to my eye has led to my current retina problems. ****Hopefully this is the last time I’ll ever need this surgery***
