(moving this here because I don't want to disrupt the NFL thread lol)


I specifically avoid doing that, even when it comes to shows I really like and do desperately want to read.

I don't want to know what happens if I'm going to watch the shows and I also don't want to be disappointed if the show varies from the manga in a way I don't like. I just want to enjoy the show as it's own thing. If anything, I'd read the manga after I finish the show, just to see differences and any additional information.

I read along as the manga was released in two shows I was really into a long time ago and I wish I hadn't.

I've transcended into being Manga only for a majority of things. I'm just disappointed with the quality of animation on most series now. Also don't get into manhwa(Korean webcomics) that's another rabbit hole you'll never escape from.

Is the Solo Leveling anime out yet? I saw the casual otakus/weebs talking about it.

The webcomic art is fantastic and idk if they can dedicate the time to hit that quality. Won't spoil anything about the story though.

Man that webcomic got so big it got enough traction to be animated. I wish Tower of God had a better adaptation cause the early stuff is awesome. You should totally read it and not lose track of your time.

There's some top quality stuff out there Cap. Tower of God is bonkers in terms of the universe. Solo Leveling had a great studio do the art for the webcomic. Loads of reincarnator, isekai, regression stuff. Lots of Murim/martial arts stuff. And lots of fluffy, slice of life, heart warming stuff which is my jam now.

At some point I am just going to go back and watch it from the start again. Because I have brain damage.

There's some top quality stuff out there Cap. Tower of God is bonkers in terms of the universe. Solo Leveling had a great studio do the art for the webcomic. Usually on my phone cause webcomics have that long format. A tablet would probably work as well. If you're talking about websites most of your sailing the high seas manga sites have em.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 has to be my favorite of the year though. Absolutely fantastic in every way. The story, animation, music, everything. Loving it.

For the first half, I thought Geto's turn was a compelling storyline. I'm less interested in the antagonists of the Shibuya Incident. Part of the lack of interest might be some poor memory of what happened in season 1. Or, maybe I just don't care about the curses aside from Sukuna

Getos turn was actually the only thing that bothered me a little bit. It seemed like too drastic of a change, with too little to explain it. It wasn't necessarily that they did bad but it just felt "off" to me.

I rewatched the first season just before the second half of the 2nd started, so I'm not sure if I'd feel different if it wasn't as fresh in my mind. I'm really enjoying it so far.
