Beef, we are totally sold on Sleep Number. We have 2. We also bought a 1 in piece of memory foam to go on top. For the record, I sleep 20pts higher than the Mrs. Also the ability to raise your head a little is a need for me, so flat mattresses are out.

Also sleep numbers seem to last a lot longer than regulars. They do not compress and get uneven. I think we were buying a new one every 8 to 10 years before, but have had the main bed for 15yrs now, and it is as good as new.

Part of his disorder includes seizure activity, he has one bad seizure (Mycolonic Jerk/Infantile Spasm) lasting around 10 minutes every night, 1 hour exactly after he goes to sleep. He currently takes Kepra and Gabapentin to help with how upset it makes him, but we are at a low dose of Gabapentin and have recently talked to his Neurologist about switching to THC+CBD 2:1 combo to see if we can give him something natural and stop the gabapentin.

My wife has back problems and I tend to be up late either coming in from hockey or not going to sleep til 1/1:30. So need something that is good with movement isolation.

Our purple was good for the first month or two but as someone who is heavier it doesnt do much for me. If it was a King Size we would probably just deal with it.

We wanted something that wasn't all memory foam as we previously had one of those nectars and hated it.

I'm looking at interspring with a 1 inch/2inch memory foam on top and some sort of cooling layer.

Most of the mattresses that im looking at have some layer of memory foam on top anyway so it really doesn't matter. However if we find one we like without the pillow top we would just by a mattress topper from the marriot collection.

I'm interested in getting one of those bases that can reposition the mattress as well because i tend to sit up in bed watching tv until I fall asleep. But i haven't heard good things about Casper/Nectar. They spend a shit ton on marketing and they are a huge name because they can ship a bed in a box.

Most mattresses - unless youre looking for one that splits differently on your side and your wife's - will work just fine on any adjustable frame. The frame we have is awesome, but the mattress itself i could take or leave.

Yeah, every night when he falls asleep, it's weird as most traditional seizures don't follow an internal clock.

He has also been having more and more throughout the day as he's gotten a little older. The ones during the day last around 5 minutes at a time but don't upset him as much.

We previously tried CBD but it didn't do anything, hoping that that combined with THC will help

Friend of mine used to smuggle cigarettes from North Carolina to sell in New York. It was at least a 2x profit. He did get pulled over shortly after crossing the border. The cop took one look at the massive piles of stuff under blankets, said something about how he's not dealing with this with his week ending, and let him go.
