Well... after the month no longer going to be working in soccer/football... though still in sports!

Got an offer with a 25% wage rise, plus the ability to work full-time remotely from anywhere in Europe... doing something very similar with a bit more varied nature and more time "on the ground" at events etc... with less work/responsibility to boot aha.

Also at a previous employer, so very familiar with them and multiple of them including the boss I would consider "friends" outside of work to to a degree.

So no more "Manager" in my title, but a trade-off of having more of a life, more money, and likely spending half my week on a beach in Portugal aha. Which girlfriend is very happy about, as am I.

Maybe this will be the first job I have ever stayed in for more than 20 months.

So far in "professional" career:

20 months
15 months
7 months
17 months
18 months

Though I guess that is pretty common these days for people of my age... if you dont move or at least look for new jobs generally just get a stagnating wage. Though ofc wage is not everything.

Speaking of dogs and sport...

one of the best riders in the world with some nasty scrapes in one of the biggest races of the year (2nd most important 21 day race after Tour de France) avoiding hitting a dog.
