Yeah we blew a lead at home and the Pens didn't have Crosby or Letang but that's a good win for us. It puts us two games over .500 and both Kakko and Fox had big games. Georgiev held the fort as well.

People hate the +/- stat but Buchnevich is leading the team with a +8 which says to me his game is evolving. I wish he'd shoot more but he's a much stiffer and more defensively responsible player to play against this year and I think it shows up in that stat. His physical game is better as well. Lindgren also is a +5 in 6 games. I loved how he was working over Malkin in front of the net.
Can't recall the Penguin player that beat Lindgren wide but he made it up with a well- timed shove. His physicality keeps him in the lineup

I'm just gonna say it. It was a great Finnish. Come at me.

Save that one for the holiday toast Dad.

The games have more or less been butt ugly and I'm pretty confident in saying that this team won't make the playoffs, even after Zibanejad comes back.

BUUUTTT as opposed to last year, The young guys are making an impact.
It gives us hope of a bright future. But I'm not sold we can't make the playoffs yet. The kids will only get better in time. It's possible they learn to play within a system, with a little more consistency. It is likely a longshot, but if Vegas taught us anything,... is that anything is possible.

Legend has it Panarin, Kreider and DeAngelo are still out there valiantly gliding on led legs to center ice, ever so close, but still not able to reach that elusive rarity, The Line Change.

Love what I’m seeing from Kakko...

But Helen Keller could have scored that goal. Fox is cool as a cucumber out there. He looks like a Vet. Insane...

While the assist was amazing by Fox, it still requires Hockey IQ and inticipation, instinct, etc, that bad players don't have. Don't try take away anything from my boi!
