I had Kakko Fox Georgiev. We don’t win that game without Georgie. He was very good.

I thought Fox was a turnover machine tonight but players like him controlling so much of the play are going to do that from time to time.

it’s time to put Kakko with legit top 6 players. He’s ready.

Howden should be the 4th line center just go skate crash and bang your way to the net. But nothing more. Not at this point. Survive the next 2 games and hopefully Mika is back and we can move Strome to 3C
It's easy to live with Fox's turnovers at times. I have more confidence with the puck on his stick than anyone else except AP.

Don't look now, but the team is at true .500 and 6-2-2 in their last 10.

Said from the beginning they'd be on the doorstep. Whether they sneak in and get the kids their first taste of PO hockey or they finish at the bottom end of the lottery and hope to the hockey gods for a Chicago-like draw, I'm good.

Please sweet Xenu! Ask L Ron Hubbard for one more lottery win!

And we have 2 cups over the next decade in the making.

From a gameplay perspective, the first period was fantastic, and there were portions of the 3rd where they had really good waves of momentum. This team still hasn't quite figured out how to play within their structure when the other team is making a big push, but I think that'll come with time. You could also tell they were trying to do way too much in the second to compensate because they were missing passes and fumbling pucks the entire period. However, I'll cut them a bit of slack for it since the refs were giving the Penguins powerplays like they were candy.

All-in-all, it was a decent game that had some really bright spots with some ugly moments. I'm really happy for Kakko because that kid is working his tail off, and he's finally starting to get rewarded on the stat sheet. Hopefully some of his passes will start connecting too because I think he's shown really good vision finding teammates coming into open space.

Youngest team in the league and lets be real, come TDL they're probably going to get even younger.

As long as the players who are going to be a part of this team when they're good again are the ones driving the success, I'm down with whatever as you said.

Just imagine if we could get one. more. Kakko.
Unfortunately, if that were that case we most likely wouldn't be able to witness guys like Fox, Chytil, Lemieux, Lindgren, Hajek, ADA develop into very good hockey players this year.

1st period : meh... --> Yes!
2nd period: zzz ---> whack AF
3rd period: Georgie Girl toxic asset bailout!
OT: Woooohhhoooooooo!

We need more guys like Lemieux on this team. He's the first one to jump off the bench after Kakko's OT winner. And then shakes Kakko and body slams him into the boards with excitement, prompting the biggest smile I have ever seen on Kakko's face. IMO, that was more exciting than the goal itself. I just love the enthusiasm of these youngsters. Makes me feel young again.

Who was it here, that wanted Kakko to score the first goal of the game? And isn't it only fitting he also gets the clutch OT winner?

Kudo's to Panarin, ADA and Kreids for not giving up on that extremely long shift. That allowed our rookies to do their magic.

A good fought win, when we had every chance to let this one slip away.

And to think we’d have that record without Zbad? Makes it that much more impressive, especially when you look at the teams we’ve beat during that stretch.

The great thing is we’re not just winning, we’re also seeing our prospects produce. That’s the end game here and it’s more exciting than getting a Win.

Good times. I better not ****ing die young. I want to see what Gorton builds here.

I have been watching this team for a long time. There are only a handful of moments that literally got me choked up in real time that didn't involve a retirement or the cup. This was such a pass the torch type of game. G in goal, Fox controlling the game, KK doing great things. The letter may turn out to be the biggest thing that ever happened to this franchise.
