It's nice to have someone that can convert consistently on high percentage plays. Kaapo actually assesses what he's got to shoot at and has the speed and hands to do what's best instead of the likes of Buchenvich and Kreider that just shovels it in the general direction.

He had a ton of rough moments in this game but that entire sequence, from making the play on Malkin to the rush up ice to the set up was Fox.

I have no problem with Fox going through those growing pains. When he’s a finished product he’s going to be a defenseman that will give opposing coaches headaches.

Anyone think that kick pass Fox did at the blue line was intentional and not just him trying to keep the puck in? If so that was an incredible play too

this game convinced me of how talented these kids are and how not ready to win consistently they are. Panarin and great goaltending can do a lot for your record in the meantime.

also, I think Trouba's playing admirably. I thought he was our best d-man tonight.

Gorton has acquired 3 game changers this offseason (or at least potential game changers). Panarin, Kakko (yea, that was luck but still), and Fox. For two 2nd rounders. That’s amazing.

The games have more or less been butt ugly and I'm pretty confident in saying that this team won't make the playoffs, even after Zibanejad comes back.

BUUUTTT as opposed to last year, The young guys are making an impact.

I had Kakko Fox Georgiev. We don’t win that game without Georgie. He was very good.

I thought Fox was a turnover machine tonight but players like him controlling so much of the play are going to do that from time to time.

it’s time to put Kakko with legit top 6 players. He’s ready.

Howden should be the 4th line center just go skate crash and bang your way to the net. But nothing more. Not at this point. Survive the next 2 games and hopefully Mika is back and we can move Strome to 3C

Kakko and his “slow” start has him on pace for 41 points. As an 18 year old.

He is going to be so so good. We have never had a player like him.
