Watched the game live and there was a distinct lull in play after the 10 minute mark of the first. Starting to become a trend.

Picked up in the 3rd and controlled the play.

Fox is so patient with the puck. You can sense his calm with the puck.

2nd line was good all night. Had chances and just could not hurt one.

Kakko is figuring things out. Slowly he's becoming more of a viable top 6 option.

One thing I noticed in person: Kreider takes a ton of faceoffs for Chytil. If moved, Chytil cannot rely on that. He needs to improve in the circle to be at least respectable.
Speaking of this, Kreider was 7-1 on faceoffs tonight lmao.

Re: Fox: his OT feed was fire but the defensive play he made on Malkin that lead to the rush shouldn't be missed. Malkin had him beat and Fox still got a poke-check in there from behind. That was a really nice play.

Dayum, turned it on to see the goal and freaked out. Thanks for pointing the poke out, what a D play that was. Fox is so much better than I ever could have imagined.

Kakko, man.

Fox continues to amaze me... I knew his IQ/Vision/Gamesense was talked about... but this is as good as it gets...

Panarin is the sexiest player I've ever watched... I feel like that's an accurate scouting report; as weird as it sounds

That OT goal shows how much of a different team we are than last year. Offensively at least...

We really are a better team without Staal.

Buch could have had a handful of goals.

We’re in the mix. Gonna be tough, but that 3rd division spot is up for grabs.

I thought before season if everything went right and I do mean everything, we'd have important pressure packed late March games to play which would be fantastic for the kids to have to go through. Now whether or not that resulted in a playoff slot, didn't really concern me.

Though we are having a nice little winning streak going currently, I still think we are a year away before we can "expect' to get into the dance and about 3 years away from being Cup contender worthy.

But for now, the season is going just fine as the kids are getting their first experiences in what it's like to be in the NHL which will serve them well going forward and which is THE most important part of this particular season.

This season is gravy to me to be honest as no matter where the team finishes doesn't really matter. So long as we are competitive, entertaining and are a pain in the ass to play against while at the same time watching the emergence and developments of the Kakkos', Fox's, Georgie's, Chytil's, Lindgrens...etc etc, that's really all that matters in the scheme of things.

So far so good as I despite some of the expected hiccups here and there, I just love love love this team we got as the future is what it's all about and it's bright as hell boyz....

Fox is a goddamn wizard. I'm so amazed at how good he is.

He's going to be our best all-around defenseman soon.

Yeah, they are not similar, but he definitely reminds me so much of how it was watching a young Marc Savard. The playmaking is just at a wow level so many times and they are in perfect control. Heads and shoulders above most NHLers around them.

Trying to keep a lid on it but can't help but think we have a special player in Fox.

Its Fox season
