It's warm for 4 months out of the year. Cold for the rest, and it starts with f***ing fall. Fall is also when all our homegrown food dies, days get shorter, which means when I wake up for work it's pitch blank. My eyes water, nose runs, and I blow redwoods down with my sneezing. Thanks ragweed. Also, my dog's hot spots itch so much he scratches them raw and bleeds, so he gets to go to the vet. It's also when my grandmother started her downward spiral toward death some years ago. And beach season is over too. No more tans, no more beach naps on the blankie. No more sunrise runs. Kids are back in school, so those little goblins and their Karen parents clog up the roads in the morning. Flu season gets going, so work starts to suck more than usual again. This is why you’re my rival for reals.
