I actually don't want to go down rabbit holes on this because there are many. It really is more than just the Russians trying to reconstruct the Russian Empire ...it is more of an economic proxy war among economic blocks that are forming between US and Western Europe mostly in competition with China, Russia, Iran, and India in some respects. I would really like to hear what people here in the US understand "the rules based international order to be?" Whose rules, what are they and who benefits most from the current order? Not expecting an answer ..just deeper thought about what is really going on with this geopolitical chess match that hopefully remains contained. I mean we really are at an inflection point....we have world powers playing nuclear chicken trying to keep the war a contained proxy war from our standpoint while Putin considers it....real or perceived to be a war against Ukraine AND NATO. How soon before the blurred lines become clearer and NATO engages with Russia or vice versa with unthinkable consequences for all. I mean this is not paranoia but a real serious situation as even the Pope has expressed...called it madness recently.

I mean this is by no means some endorsement of what Russia and more accurately Putin is doing in Ukraine....invading a country is never justifiable.... especially if there is no imminent threat like what happened back in the day with Iraq and the BS WMD pretext. But of course we are the United States of Amnesia when it comes to our own sordid past.

Guess we'll see how this plays out.....Russia always seems to gain from General Winter as they call it......he is banking on freezing Europe into balking and fracturing politically with their current support.....

So without going into much detail, I had the weirdest day today. Had a job interview in Germany with some quite higher-up managers, for various f'd up reasons I was late despite arriving on site an hour early, and I was so thrown off by my mistakes (and shown irresponsibility) that I kept subconsciously speaking both German and English at the same time for ten minutes, fluently switching from one to the other within the same sentence.

Kudos to the manager who said "good for us you aren't switching to Czech"

Question for any Curling fans here. In the US, the Olympic channel occasionally shows bigger curling events. I was wondering if there were any places online that show curling coverage.

So..just found out that Reddi Whip is age restricted..least in NY...but my company is so awful..it popped up down here
