San Pedro, CA.
Nashville exposed, they look like trash. That stacked defense has no goals and Subban looks like a slug on skates.

It makes me wonder how we’d do against them if we took care of business before game 82, and didn’t have Tarasenko out there. I don’t think we’d necessarily win, but Colorado’s depth behind the big first line is pretty suspect just like us.

I don’t believe we’d hold up as well, mostly because our PP would provide no disincentive for them to play on the edge the whole series long. Colorado is playing really well. The Hamburgler helped them out a good bit yesterday, but Colorado is bouncing back whenever they fall behind, doing it each time. Impressive showing for them.

if the vezina included the post season, rinne would not be a candidate imo

Are we already in Stanley Cup finals or how many games we've played at this post-season?

Why is that relevant to someone saying Rinne has looked shaky? The Blues can be an average/below average team and have missed the playoffs, and Rinne can not look like a Vezina winning goalie in a series. They aren't mutually exclusive.

Because he's Finnish.

BUT according to all of the great people, Subban is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Subban is a high risk player to me. Takes chances that come back to bite him or makes a huge mental mistake.

Really both goals were on him last night.

Don't get me started on the Norris trophy. It is ridiculous that P.K. is in the top 3.

Exactly. Of course being a homer I would have liked Pietrangelo as a finalist but I was shocked that Seth Jones wasn't. Stood out a lot more to me than Subban did.

With all this time about P.K. and that, I would love to see what everyone ranks as say their top 10 dman in the league. Top 10 fowards and etc.

I would be interested to see where everyone ranks certain players at.

Avs fans chanting "Subban sucks"

Well how mean of them. I'm sure Ajax will need to stop rooting for them now because of how offensive this is

I really miss David Backes now. I know, I know the contract ... :(. Big, RHS C with net front presence. Shows up huge in the playoffs. Exactly what we need. I am seriously re-thinking the wisdom of letting him walk now.

Would it have made us contenders this year? I’m not sure.

Next year? I can’t think of many better guys to teach Robby Thomas the ways of the world. That stings. Backes was a good player and I really think he would have been a better player to keep than Berglund and Sobotka. In hindsight.

Thomas and Backes play nothing alike. I mean I guess i understand your point but it's not like we need Backes here mentoring Thomas on how to play the game. He's going to be a very different player, and I don't think learning from good two-way players like Alex Steen, Jaden Schwartz and Brayden Schenn is going to hurt him.

Of course I agree they are far from the same, but Backes played the game hard every time.
