For the first time maybe ever, there isn't one thing I would change with the Bruins lol.
That’s where I’m at too, Lou.

They have to though in order to bring Forbort back.

I’ve been concerned this entire time about the cost of getting a team to take a contract like Reilly. But other than that, I don’t have a single problem with the roster. I don’t see passengers or roster spackle.

I think they could definitely use some jam in the lineup. A 3rd/4th line player who can scare a little.

I also think it’s valid to be worried about what happens to Gryz in the playoffs, and can Carlo stay healthy.

I would like another good offensive d and definitely want more speed at center. If they are very lucky, they might be able to get Klingberg, depending on Monty's opinion of him. They will have to compensate for the center speed through coaching, which I think they are doing.

I don’t understand the right D pairings when everyone is healthy.

I want to have Lindholm and McAvoy in different pairs.

Lindholm and Cliffy has worked better than Lindholm and Carlo by a good margin.

Forbort and McAvoy didn’t work well last year.

Forbort and Carlo don’t work.

Forbort works with Clifton.

Just seems like you either have to have a Lindholm/McAvoy super pairing (Gryz/Carlo, Forbort/Clifton), or a Lindholm/Carlo pairing that has seen Lindholm’s offense dry up. All I want to do is keep Lindholm and Clifton together but don’t see how it works.

I think you broke it down perfectly. The trade Carlo question gets more and more interesting, and debateable,by the game frankly.

Any add is really a luxury item. But if the team is looking like this in February and the space has been opened up, they deserve spending some future assets for one.

Moving Reilly and Smith looks to be impossible without a sweetener like a 2nd.

Curious on people's thoughts on moving Carlo and getting back assets for him. When Forbort is healthy a pairing of he and Carlo doesn't seem like an effective pair.

He's still very young, big a decent skater and is looking better than last season under Cassidy.

Edit: I see others have brought up this same idea.

My only hesitation would be shaking up an amazing team.

We don’t have seconds in the next two drafts.

If we could get a more skilled d back, done and done. A low first is also tempting. Carlo looks better to me but still not all that good.

Get back ? Lol funny idea. That would take a miracle. I think they get moved for picks. If not maybe they do move carlo. Carlo has a lot of value I think. I think carlo is underrated. It would be a shame to lose him. Smith should be movable too. I think they want to move a defender though. They seem to have an influx of good defence. Even the prospect pool seems pretty nice on defence. Sweeney might be a defence specialist!

I feel like Reilly and a 4th for a 7th would get it done. I don’t think they in a hurry. I feel like sweeney has various bad offers and is just waiting to see if a better one falls into place. I feel like he isn’t the type to rush.

I wouldn't mind adding Luke Schenn at the deadline, or as part of a Carlo/Gryz trade, he's on a cheap expiring contract and is actually playing pretty well for the dumpster fire that is the Canucks
