Without Hyman it seems we have no one in front of the net. He has eyes in the back of his head for loose pucks
And yet every once in a while you have some long time posters here asking (not quite demanding) about Eichel.haha I was browsing the Toronto forum earlier, fans are ready to riot lol.... meanwhile here in Oiler land, nothing but sunshine lol.
Toronto plays Chicago on Weds and I can only imagine if they lose
Puljujarvi looked better at that spot in preseasonWithout Hyman it seems we have no one in front of the net. He has eyes in the back of his head for loose pucks
But that’s why they didn’t prioritize him…Every player needs other players to play well, even Hyman. Hopefully his hustle doesn’t wane.
So why didn’t Toronto prioritize him?
It’s tough when you have two forwards making 20million.It's tough to afford complementary players when you've got four forwards making $40M combined.
It’s not though. That’s why we did it.It’s tough when you have two forwards making 20million.
Leaf fan here. I am so impressed by Hyman! He was never this dominant in Toronto and he was always on the left wing of Matthews. It truly made me wonder - does Matthews s*** so much compared to McDavid? Why did Hyman become almost a star player in Edmonton, but was always considered average, despite very hard working in Toronto? Thanks guys and good luck versus the Rangers!
Murse. A man purse is called a murse. ;|they thought matthews carried him to those results in his purse

Dude is a faster Ryan Smyth. He’s amazing. Just what the forward corps neededWithout Hyman it seems we have no one in front of the net. He has eyes in the back of his head for loose pucks
He is a player that Oilers have lacked in such a long time. Seeing how he is here and what was said about him during the summer and lead up to free agent day is mind blowing, no one , not leaf fans knew what they had in him.he is just like Ryan smyth but faster.Leaf fan here. But but…he’s doing both…You can't teach his passion.
He's the type of caring teammate that would probably be writing children's novels if he wasn't a hockey player.

But at least now you have Ritchie digging out pucks for Matthews and Marner. As a Leaf fan, I am stoked that he is killing it for you guys. But f*** me senseless, I miss that guy in a leaf sweater
Admit it, you are just biased because you bought your son Zach's latest kids book and he happens to love it.When my son grows up I want him to conduct himself the way Zach Hyman does on and off the ice.
Not sure I can pay a higher compliment to someone. He’s just a great person. So well spoken, highly intelligent, thoughtful, and caring teammate.
He’s the kind of guy you want in your locker room and community.
