I think this is a bigger game for LA than for us. After losing the last two playoff matches, they probably want to come out and hard and win.

A win would be nice but I hope we don’t kill ourselves to get it. I think it’s more important to rack up the wins against Anaheim and a fairly easy January.
This game is way more important to the Oilers. A win against the Oilers doesn't erase the 2 playoff series losses for L.A. just like the Oilers win over Vegas earlier this season didn't erase the pain of the series loss against them.
The Oilers are scratching and clawing just to get into a playoff spot, can't assume that they'll beat the Ducks and the other teams in this "easy' stretch, a win against L.A. is just as important.

In any event, I'll be tuning in late to this one. I'm all about the Lions tonight until about 11:30 or whenever the game against the Cowboys ends.

Any places at all that have gluten free bun or options? I kind of miss a good burger, end up having to make it at home which defeats convenience. Ah well, benefit is I'm not tempted by much fast food. No way I can have vast majority of it.

Just as an aside whoever thought the name Fatburger would be appealing. I like lean. Of the above I miss Harveys. They seemed a little notch above the others while keeping prices reasonable.

Ah, the joys of eating gluten free.

I used to get a burger in a tray without the bun at 5 Guys, love their cajun fries. Haven't been there in the years since Covid, but have heard it's crazy expensive now. Woodshed Burgers and Delux Burger Bar have gluten free buns, but again, crazy expensive. I make them at home too because I'm not paying $20+ for a burger.

I was wondering why I got 4 replies. heh. Thanks for the feedback. Trouble is most store bought Gluten Free hamburger buns are crap and fall apart. Only good one I found was "O Doughs" but now their products no longer appear on the shelves.

Usually I just toast up some gluten free bread, ends are best, and just make a hamburger out of that. The 5 guys option of a pattie on a tray sounds dismal.

hey. if you happen to be Ceiliac like me be careful with any coated or flavored fries. Usually they have gluten in the coating, and usually the place making them doesn't have a gluten free only fryer. Prefer my own homemade fries with an airfryer.

FWIW CHOP make a decent burger on a Gluten Free bun but again expensive.

Brown out today?
Good question. They list Lavoie at 4RW but show Brown at second pair penalty kill. Lavoie's recall makes sense given their road swing through California. But to recall and press box him doesn't make sense. Then again I'm not sure Knoblauch opts to sit one of their veterans PK guys in this big game. Guess we'll see eh!

EDIT: Tony Brar reporting Lavoie plays/starts at 4RW.

I wouldn't miss the Oilers if it was even Christians vs Lions on. I'm going straight to hell with attempts of humor like this.

Real Lions vs Cowboys. That would be a thing too.

I hear you on the crap. I don't eat any gluten free baking unless it's homemade, can tolerate Save-On Western Family brand gluten free bread.

A well made Whopper is better than A&W and Five Guys (runs).
lol. Burger King is absolute trash. The fact that they have burger" in their name and all they have is the whopper which is no where what it used to be is saying a lot. Easily the worst fast food place in Canada next to maybe Arby's. Tied for last. That's not even an opinion but a fact. haha
