Carls Jr. is actually not that bad but it depends on the sandwich and I haven't had them in Canada only the US. I had one jalepeno burger (forgot the name) in the US and was surprised how good it was but I think that's because some of their burgers are flame broiled, others are not.

Flame broiling makes a big difference, it's like OLED tv versus an LCD TV.

Canada fast food is generally crap, but looking at how fat Americans are, that's probably not the worst thing. Tim Horton's ... people lining up for cardboard tasting food and average coffee, lulz. The ice cap is decent for the price in the summer I guess.

Fat Burger is like a poor man's In N' Out Burger, but I don't think In N' Out is ever coming to Canada, they're not even nationwide in the US. They would dominate the burger market if they really wanted to.

Don't know about any of the East Coast only US chains like White Castle, never had them.

I'm actually happy I don't like A&W and Dairy Queen that much ... I don't hate them or anything but it's like having them a few times per year max is good enough.

There's both an A&W and Dairy Queen just up the road from me so I'd be in real trouble if I actually liked them lol

Has anybody mentioned Wendy’s?

I haven’t had them in years because there isn’t one near me but I would definitely put it 2nd to the ”premium” joints. Special mention to In N Out just because it’s even cheaper than McDonalds and isn’t garbage tier.

I’ve barely eaten fast food in the last 3 years, there’s no fast food chains where I live unless I wanna jump on a boat or plane and make the trip to Nassau.

The only times I have eaten fast food the last few years is in the states and I’ll actually agree with meathead that the fast food options are much better in the US than in Canada where it seems like the food is getting more expensive and worse, even when we’re staying in Canada and it’s accessible we’re pretty much over fast food these days. The one exception I make is the bacon mushroom melt from Wendy’s but I tend to not be in the country during its limited time availability which sucks.

Burger King is by far the worst of the bunch though, I hadn’t eaten it in probably 12 years so I decided to give it a try again a few years ago and it was still disgusting. Their burgers suck, fries suck, all their dumb gimmick menu items look and sound disgusting. Seems like populations agree because Burger King has been losing market share and shutting down locations. Two of their biggest franchisees filed for bankruptcy protection.

Im shocked it took to page 5 for someone to mention Wendys. Baconators are tough to beat.

Hope to see Lavoie show some chemistry with Hamblin tonight, his shot could be very valuable for us.

I like them. I don’t get it often, but the baconator is good. It’s one of the rare fast food chains that actually gives a TON of bacon on their burger

We only have two locations I think in Regina so I don’t go often but it’s good. Same with Arbys
