I'm not sure the best team in hockey - Red Wings - ever had a single embarrassing moment.
Draper whining about Crosby and the handshake line in ‘09 says hello?

There must be a reason for a “bottom 6 player” to have 30% more points???Trying to compare those 2 players ….. just yeah.
Are you not entertained?
Dennis Wideman hitting a ref has to be oneCalgary Flames, in no particular order:
Buying out Martin St. Louis
Trading Joe Mullen for a 2nd round pick because his "drop" in production meant he was washed up.
Proclaiming Mark Jankowski as one of the best players in his draft class.
Honourable mentions: 1990-1994 Seasons, drafting Trevor Kidd instead of Martin Brodeur
Number 1 for Minnesota. Getazlaf scoring a PP goal with your captains stick (Mikko Koivu)
For the Caps, in my time as a fan.
1. Trading Forsberg for Erat. I’m still livid today just thinking about it.
2. The Caps blowing a 3-1 series lead to the Canadiens after winning the Presidents’ Trophy by a mile that season.
3. The Brendan Leipsic incident. Glad they kicked this clown off the team quickly after. Caps place Leipsic on waivers after comments
1. Jersey ads
2. Statue of liberty
3. Hmm. The Valentine's Day Massacre after Forsberg retired. Zanon flipping out about reporters standing on the logo. Duchene's 30 goal celebration. A game during 2016-17 when there were more Chicago fans in the building than Colorado. I might be missing one or two.
The Decade of Darkness pretty much covers that.I’m surprised so many people are mentioning games or a series as opposed to off ice decisions in the front office or scandals.
Which one? The recent decade hasn’t been too kind. I’m talking from a Detroit standpoint. The Decade of Darkness pretty much covers that.
I was talking about my team but an analysis of most team's managerial moves would be exhausting. But for the sake of conversation and relatability, Ken Holland and his shitty tenure.Which one? The recent decade hasn’t been too kind. I’m talking from a Detroit standpoint.
I would also add this team moved on from Glenn Hall, Johnny Bucyk, Red Kelly, and Ted Lindsay, all of whom should have been retained in hindsight. But those are more bad moves and not scandals.
I still think Kravtsov returns to the NHL within a couple of seasons and I fully expect him to score 50 in 50.1. Trading Kravtsov
2. Sending down Rempe
3. Buying out Henrik Lundqvist so we could keep Georgiev
HM Trading Buchnevich for Blais
