I was thinking as this one was rolling towards overtime we’ve lost so many points in games that were tied late not going to OT, it would be nice to prevent the Isles from getting the loser point. And then it happened!

Mikey McLeod is now an excellent player. He has the clutch gene. Schmid is the guy, sorry Vitek. Brendan Smith is horrendous but you have to love the heart.

I gave up, I’m glad the team is mentally tougher than me.

Even if we lost without Akira allowing a single goal, we may have still went back to making Vitek happen.
