The source of the problem is Boston basically sucks, unless you wanted a smaller, inferior asshole version of NYC. Yes, I’m bias and I don’t care.

The #1 culinary city in the US in New Orleans though and it’s not even close. I’m not much of a foodie, so I don’t care if people disagree with that either. (It’s true tho.)
Agree on NOLA.

Agree that it would be good to get him back for low-$.

But I also understand the "hate", which goes back to (1) how he was perceived as a drag on Jack early on this season. I mean face-off wins were great, but he provided little else at the time, and (2) I'd bet 90% of us got un-excited very fast if we looked up and saw Haula heading to the net alone. He's turning it around a bit now, but for the lions-share of the season he's been where good opportunities went to die. Or at least that was the perception.

Oh yeah, agree there. NYC gets the nod on pure volume (at least pre-covid), but I'd take New Orleans for a weekend. Montreal, though not in the U.S., is #2 in North American IMO.
My bachelor party options were Nola or Montreal last year. Ended up going to new orleans because I had never been and I've been to montreal half a dozen times.

f***ing love Montreal, though. What a fantastic city to visit, for food or otherwise.

Checking the ticket sites, the nose-bleeds are $250 for tonight's game.

For reference, Fenway Park for Opening Day last week started at $20 on the day of (though the wind chill was in the 30s)

Ya the prices were nuts. $200 for the upper level before fees tacked on.

But you have to do it. Two of the best teams in the league, when history can be made in multiple ways.

It definitely is NOLA but I'd put Miami and NYC somewhere in the top 5 too but I love latin food. I could die a happy person if all I ate was Cuban, Dominican and Mexican food for breakfast/lunch/dinner in any order, lol.

Why hasnt anyone brought up Luke

What line is he on

I think Fitz or Ruff said earlier today that he is not playing today.
I think Fitz. I think he said, he wants Luke to play in the last couple games and actually hopes to call up a few Utica players.

There are a ton on NJD videos today. There are 11 new videos in the last 24 hours:

I like Latin food so much, I'm surprised I didn't find a single percentage of any Latin ancestry. Not even Spanish from Spain. I did have like 1% Portuguese, which is close enough to Spain.

I got more Italian than anything and I like Italian food, but not as much as anything Mexican or even some of the stuff that originated in Spain. Really liked Portuguese food too, which explains that 1%.

I HATE spaghetti straight up with just red sauce. I like chicken parmesan, I like veal parmesan, I like stuff like that with the red sauce. I even like baked ziti, but just plain pasta with red sauce? No f***in way. The red sauce I like the most is any kind of hot sauce I get at the Mexican joints I go to. Luckily there's no scarcity of them here. I do really love mussels with the spicier red sauce that you can get at most of the pizzeria's up in Jersey.

I used to dread spaghetti night at the house as a kid, which seemed to be about 2-3 nights a week. And of course I heard the ''Well you're Italian, you're supposed to like this stuff!''. And I'd be like ''f*** this! I'd rather have tacos! Maybe I'm a Latino?''.

After Latin food? Definitely anything Asian.

Definitely snakebit early on and it was a negative to his game but overall the effort and all around play was a definite upgrade to this team.....

Whether its Haula or any of the other U/RFAs, what they do in the playoffs will matter more to me than regular season. I'm confident I'd like Tatar back for example, but if he goes 7 games, no points, -4 or something, I think I might feel different. Same goes for others. Sharangovich could have big playoffs if a spot opens and all of a sudden he's not a clear trade bait. Blackwood could win the Conn Smythe etc.

While we're on the topic of culinary, I had 4 tacos (2 lengua, 2 tripa), a chorizo quesadilla, an order of chicken taquitos, which I never had theirs before, but it certainly won't be the last. I wish I had tried theirs much sooner.

And a chorizo burrito.

I also have a steak/chorizo mix burrito saved for tomorrow. They call that the a la diabla burrito, because it's made with a spicy sauce.

No, I don't eat like this every day. This is like my cheat day. I also don't make enough money to eat like this every day or much more than 2-3 times a month.

Chorizo is like my favorite meat I think. I do like the Spanish chorizo more than the Mexican chorizo, but they're both GREAT, though very oily and greasy.

I was looking for this earlier, as I was trying to show my friend, cause I knew he would think this was hilarious. I wound up finding it a couple hours ago lol.
