I am a certified food junkie/addict. I'd like to say I'm a recovering one, but unlike people who get off their vices, I still indulge in mine. I went through a period 1.5-3 years ago where I ate like this about 3-5 days a week instead of just one and I gained about 70 pounds, which I've since lost.

But now it's only a once/twice a week thing.

Zacha is a fine player. I just never wanted to pay him a whole lot. I can't imagine not having Timo Meier because we were paying Zacha what the Bruins just extended him for.

I'm not saying Zacha isn't better than Haula, but Devils Haula has definitely not been worse than Devils Zacha.

Devils Zacha was fine, but I didn't wanna pay him more than what he was making on his last contract, which is about what Haula's making this year? And I don't think management did either, which is why they parted ways when he was an RFA.

Haula has at least replaced Devils Zacha (it's a wash at worst) and at a salary that is about the same as Zacha's previous salary the last few years.

This stuff has been happening for years now.

I remember when we signed Zach Parise and brought him up for the last 2-3 weeks of the 03-04 season, but he didn't play a single game.

They said it was just to get him acclimated to the pro lifestyle.

So it's really not mandatory that Luke plays a game.

Did anybody really think he was actually gonna play tonight after just meeting up with the team last night? It's not like when a dude that's already pro comes to a team after being traded the night before.

I can't believe anybody would expect that Luke was playing tonight.

I think people were expecting it because 1.) in previous years he would likely be playing (because they were bad than 2.) Makar stepped right into Colorado’s lineup for the playoffs a few years ago (though we are a much better team that that pre-Makar Avs team was.

Edit: also he would have gotten games in has Michigan gotten knocked out at the regionals.

- breaking franchise and player records

Huge game for numerous reasons . Passing the Canes for the Metro lead , keep Rangers in the rear view mirror ( they play the Jackets tonight …) , good benchmark game for us . If we beat them or play then well , it will he a boost for us heading into the playoffs .
Also chance to help set a franchise best wins , Jack getting closer to breaking Elias’ record for points.
I can see an epic game from Jack . His brother here now plus chance to lead the Metro and get closer to records … he will be flying out there

The Rangers losing to Columbus in regulation? I suppose there's a 1% chance of that happening. Maybe 1.4% or something.

I honestly could see that being another beat down on them like we gave them.

I think there's a greater than 50% chance that team loses out. Maybe not all in regulation (I think they actually won their last couple of wins in OT?), but it doesn't look unlikely for them to lose out.

They got the Rangers tonight at home, @ Philly, and then Pittsburgh and Buffalo at home to wrap up the season.

The source of the problem is Boston basically sucks, unless you wanted a smaller, inferior asshole version of NYC. Yes, I’m bias and I don’t care.

The #1 culinary city in the US in New Orleans though and it’s not even close. I’m not much of a foodie, so I don’t care if people disagree with that either. (It’s true tho.)
