Can you sticky Bleedred's post on Zacha and agree never to talk about him again? It feels definitive.

I want to talk about Jack Hughes and how Bratt and Timo should be salivating at signing a deal to play with an incandescent player a couple years from his prime. I want to talk about Bahl, Dougie, El Capitaine, the Tatar Tot re-birth...There are 20+ amazing story lines with the Devils...Collecting of 2 of 3 Hughes gems...etc...

Haula is coming back you can book it

To versatile, can play wing, can play center, can play top 6 and can play bottom 6. He is really what you need for a young team still developing

With that being said I think majority of both bruins and devils fan would do this trade again 100 times over
With his scoring normalizing after that long early-season drought, I think I'm fine with this. He makes a very good third line defensive center, and he should be reasonably inexpensive to extend.

Agreed. But mostly because I'm pretty confident he'll be back
If he takes a pay cut to stay, sure, but I can see him taking the money somewhere else. By taking the money, I mean making the same salary as he is today.

The books are tight in NJ these days. This is what happens when you win and I’m all for it.

I don't think he's going to get more with the cap staying flat. The free agent class is pretty weak, so it's possible someone gives him a decent chunk, but I expect similar to what he's getting. Wouldn't be surprised if the devils give him 2 years to get him on a slightly lower aav

Haula, Zacha, Hall or Mercer GWG seems fitting in this game. Huge result in BUF/CAR, go make it count

Buffalo gave us a chance to put us in a much better position with a win tonight.

Just bought my tickets for this game! Going to be there with my brother tonight. Hoping to see a win and Hughes breaking the franchise points record!

Checking the ticket sites, the nose-bleeds are $250 for tonight's game.

For reference, Fenway Park for Opening Day last week started at $20 on the day of (though the wind chill was in the 30s)

This reminds me when I was in college in Boston there was a huge controversy because a guy won a "Best clam chowder" contest and all he did was use a can College Inn clam chowder and added some fresh clams and pork belly. They debated whether to take the title away and the Boston Globe actually wrote about this.

I don't know what it is like today, I left 26 years ago but when I was there, Boston had to be the worst culinary city in America. Everywhere I went the food absolutely sucked...after making this comment out loud my wife's mother took me to a whole bunch of places on Newbury Street to prove me wrong....still to this very day, the only time I have ever sent back a dish.
Garbage.

North End had some good things , but as someone who is half Italian from NJ the last food type I would want to explore is Italian. Providence at the time seemed to have much better food than Boston.

The source of the problem is Boston basically sucks, unless you wanted a smaller, inferior asshole version of NYC. Yes, I’m bias and I don’t care.

The #1 culinary city in the US in New Orleans though and it’s not even close. I’m not much of a foodie, so I don’t care if people disagree with that either. (It’s true tho.)

We can't lay an egg Tuesday. Fan appreciation night and a game with big implications possibly.

I said the last 3 home games were must wins. They won the first 2 and they need to win the last home game too.

I want a 24-13-4 home record, that’s a .634 Win %.

Our overall Win % is .684 and on the road it’s .744 (27-8-4), so .634 is as low as I want to go for a home record.

Seriously, we were 23-14-3 (.612) at home in 2017-18, when we were 44-29-9 (.591) overall and 21-15-5 (.573) on the road.

I went a better home record this season than the one we had in 2017-18.

It would be very nice to win both away games too, but those are less important to me.

All the good New England food is in Maine.

I also randomly had the worst meal of my life in Boston.
