Yeah but 2-6 in December is not good. This team isn’t scoring anymore. So being outscored what, 17-11 in this stretch is a concern. I get we have a guy or two out but holy cow are we that brittle lineup wise?

Really disappointed.

Scoring chances were even tonight at all-strengths, high-danger chances were heavily in our favour.
They certainly haven't been getting high danger chances at the rate they were last year, if I had to guess. Even though they're still outshooting by a lot.

#PAULMAURICE

They did have some rare odd man rushes earlier in the game tonight though.

The fact that scares me too is that he's playing the same kind of role on PP like Jack. He's already being dropped to PP2, although PP is not working at all so it dont matter atm. Does he want to be the guy? Idk what his thought process is gonna be, but if he wants to be "the guy" getting prime opportunities it might not happen here since everything runs through Jack now and in the future.

I like the player, even love him at times and would not trade him for anybody. But if the perfect trade option was out there, I think he can be expendable.
Again, if I'm Fitz I make one final offer (which is fair) to him at the beginning of the new year, if he doesn't accept it then start looking to deal him at the Deadline.

The biggest moment in the game was Haula failing to finish the glorious chance Holtz put on a silver platter for him. Zetterlund had good chance on the PP. Nico had a nice chance late. There were plenty.
He stinks

What's his shooting percentage up to now?

The decline is real with him.

Yea it sucks but only 1 of the losses has been more than 1 goal and they had a chance to make the Isles game real close at the end.

They've gotten to complacent, too relaxed. Need to bring back the fire Ruff chants
I know youre joking about the latter part, but this is exactly it. How bad do those Siegenthaler quotes look now? Like holy shit, you won 13 games in a row thats cool but no ones gonna respect you if you dont put in the work. Right now theyre coasting off of that win streak and thinking they can beat teams on minimal effort. Breaking news, no team is good enough to win consistently if you dont give your 100%.

Never thought I'd see the day. As a guy who gets invested in players a whole lot, I know it must not be easy to come to this conclusion.

1 point in this run of games has predictably turned this place into a looney bin.

I too was thrilled to get Nate back after Seattle put him on waivers. (Thanks again Seattle) It’s amazing how important he really is, and provided such stability in the lineup. Losing him created a crater sized hole. Truly feels like a game of jenga
I never thought much of him.

But seeing how vital he was this season, it still surprises me how much this team misses him.

No sarcasm needed.

He's reverted back to Chopped Liver.

And if he doesn't accept WHATEVER *FAIR* contract Fitz offers, he can be someone else's Chopped Liver.

Enough.
