I've seen this team win 1-0 countless times in my life. f***in Blackwood won the game 1-0 a month ago facing 3.5 times as many shots as the dead Hindenburg did tonight.

I like how they controlled the game against a team that is now 11-4 in their last 15.

One glaring piece that is missing is some better forwards. We need an upgrade or two to knock down Palat a few lines and the likes of Haula aren’t just getting it done.

They are close, just need a few upgrades. Fitz needs to do some work.


Danometer at 2, they are in a good spot in the standings. Lets finish the home stand with two wins and we will all forget this one.

We definitely need an add but as I've been saying it should be Cotter up there. He isn't going to cut it long term but he's better than Palat.

Everyone relax. Tying goal was weak, but you can’t blame the goalie when you give him 1 goal of support. Matthews is going to score with endless breakaways in overtime.

Beyond nonsense, we traded a haul for Markstrom and he's on par with Vanecek from last year in terms of statistics. It's ok to have standards with goaltending since we haven't had one since prime Schneider.

Using NaturalStatTrick Markstrom gave up 2 goals on 1.85 expected; which is not good but not bad, it’s pretty normal.

Devils skaters finished 1 goals on 4.53 expected, which is bad.

The finishing hurt the team way more than the goaltending.

I haven’t been THIS outraged since the debacle in Detroit earlier in the year.

Why in the hell is Palat out there in OT? I want this guy off the team. He flat out sucks.

I’ve had enough of Mercer. I’ve been less than thrilled with him at various points this year. That weak a** sh** which led to the first goal…get the hell outta here. This guy is so soft. Bonehead. He’s been garbage the last 10 games and he gets promoted to play with Nico and Meier?!

With all of that said, this is all on Markstrom. Stolarz stood on his head and Markstrom couldn’t give us a routine save. Pathetic. I’m so ticked off.

Pesce starting in case the lose the faceoff makes sense but he should be off the ice for Luke right when they gained possession. it's not really a big deal bc 3v3 is kinda fake lol but I've not liked how their deployments in OT this season - might be the one thing Ruff was better at than Keefe haha
