Anything that comes out of Emrick's mouth. Although it was comical when he vomited his entire inventory of phrases all over my speakers when Kane scored that cup winning goal. I'd rather hear epileptic seizure Emrick vs the normal one.

"Winger win" courtesy of Hughson. There are a bunch of these every game, never heard any other play by play guy utter it once.

When you listen to the same commentators night after night there's bound to be certain lines they repeat. And eventually you get really tired of them. What are your most hated ones?

As someone who follows mostly Canes here's my top 2:

''Hey Hey What do you say!''
''That's Hockey baby!''

At this point I almost wanna hit mute every time Carolina scores so I don't have to hear them again.

I love those 2 !

The worst one is probably the Philadelphia "Tasty Cakes" one.
"Holy jumpin"
Also anything that comes out of Steve Cangialosi's mouth whenever the Devils score.

Pretty much anything that comes out of Pierre's or Cassie Campbell's mouth. Neither of them should be calling games at the NHL level.
Yeah what the hell is the deal with NBC this year and women calling games? They're terrible.
Not sure which NBC commentator it is but "Melts it down" every time a goaltender stops play. Drives me nuts.

although waffleboarded and knifed are high on my list, my pet peeve is "flexed"
like what the f*** does it mean to flex a puck

Not a specific line, but I don't need to be reminded every 2 minutes ...

... what the score is
... who scored
... how many shots have been taken
... what game of the series is being played and how the score is in the series
... what period we're in and how much time is left to play

After any team in any sport in the playoffs goes up 3-0 or 3-1, it’s a

Commanding 3 to none (or one) game lead”
