The other stupid bullshit about that whole thing is people talking about him "running from MacDermid" when the refs immediately jumped in and collared McDermid were keeping people away from Rempe. I thought the Rangers were excellent in this game. The debs were only in this game because they got excellent goaltending for a change. Our D were all excellent, all 4 lines played well on both ends of the ice. Mikas ice breaker was a beautiful goal. Hopefully that gets him going. Quickie was clutch when we needed him.

As far as Rempe, he's a bull in a China shop. Unfortunately, the NHL owns the china shop and it doesn't like when it's expensive dishes get broken. For his and the teams sake, he can't take bad penalties and majors as often as he's doing now. I thought the elbow was more of a glancing blow, but when a man of that size is behind it, even a glancing blow is going to do damage. He has to learn to walk that fine line of being aggressive and physical without taking penalties.
