In all fairness to cap off this wonderful evening I think running up the score to 10 would make a resounding statement. Either way this is the best game of the season so far. Crushing the Lames on hockey night in Canada is heaven for me.

That says more about Calgary's lack of depth and the struggles for their highest paid players than it does about Tkachuk.

Well, they are in the playoffs, so not exactly a struggling team. I'd love Tkachuk on the Oilers. He'll be a solid 50+ point pest when all's said and done. Such players are valuable.

I keep seeing Pittsburgh lighting up opponents 7-1, 8-7, etc. When was the last time we scored 5+ goals or won by a big margin?
