Tkachuk will need to figure out how to reign in his temper. He'll be a really good player, and he's great at agitating. But A) he takes so many terrible penalties and B) someone might kill him out there.

Kind of a double edged sword with him. If he calms down too much, he's not at his most effective.
Either way, we're going to hate him for a long time and I hope he continues to implode.

I was really hoping the Oilers would go hard after Tkachuk after what he did to Davidson at the startod the season, but honestly, embarrassing him this way, getting him to take dumb penalties and then making him pay for it is so much more gratifying.

In all fairness to cap off this wonderful evening I think running up the score to 10 would make a resounding statement. Either way this is the best game of the season so far. Crushing the Lames on hockey night in Canada is heaven for me.

Seriously to suggest it is dumb, is dumb. He is almost Calgary's best player in his first year.

That says more about Calgary's lack of depth and the struggles for their highest paid players than it does about Tkachuk.
