Most of this thread re: Cody is pretty funny but this has gotta take the cake. The guy who hates Cody doesn’t like the main event featuring him? What a shocker.

I like Cody in the ring, I don’t like Cody outside of the ring. There’s legitimately nothing exciting about this build to me. I feel like he’s leeching off Sami.
If you like it, that’s fine. You’re allowed to. I don’t.

There’s nothing wrong with not liking Cody, everyone’s entitled to their own opinion, but I think it takes a stunning lack of self awareness to put it on the build and not one’s own biases.

I think the build has been lacklustre and I think some people would agree with me. Some may not. That’s being a fan. We’re like 3 weeks out of Mania and it’s still Sami/Bloodline that’s stealing the show.
I see things different than you, clearly, and that’s fine.

Dude, I don’t care. Also, I didn’t say most would agree, so I’m not sure where you’re going with that.
I’ve just seen the same thing from Cody all the time. I think he’s a great worker, I think he’s a painfully robotic promo and comes across as insanely self righteous, melodramatic and lame.

Oh you definitely care, enough for that little throwaway line to get to you anyway.
And yeah, that stuff is obvious, anyone who posts or lurks here can clearly see that. So to me it’s funny you both beat that horse to death but also simultaneously act like it’s not a bias thing. It’s an absurdity one doesn’t often see.

They mentioned Roman nearing 1000 days. I really hope Cody falls short at Mania and Roman chugs along towards 1000.

I tuned in the last few months becuase of Sami/bloodline story. I kept
hearing about how great it was. It got my attention and I was hooked to see how it plays out. It’s looking like it won’t have Sami in the main event with Roman and Cody. I keep hope that Sami gets in that match some how but i doubt it at this point.

I think Reigns vs. Cody has been decent. It is just losing points for me because it's nowhere near as good as what Reigns vs. Sami could/would have been.
Cody is one of the best promo guys in WWE. I just hope the Dusty mentions end once this feud is over.

I feel the only reason it can be decent is because of how good Sami has been. It seems like they're backpacking Cody on it, too. Maybe it's just me. I don't know.
I find Cody's promo work super inconsistent. I like when he's intense and fired up, few are better in that regard but most times I just find myself thinking "Man, this guy is kind of a phony"
