To be fair, I think it was one of the best promo he has ever cut.

Made sense, did not sound fake like he usually does, a lot of energy and fire. It was legit great.

I just like anyone who cuts promos without long unnecessary pauses between words or without that boring slow style of promo where wrestlers extend the time it takes to say a word just to fill up a time. Randy Orton is the biggest culprit of this. "I.....am.....going.....to....hit....you.....with......the......r........k.......o!"

Rhea Ripley cut a promo like this on Charlotte last Friday and it made her lose points with me.

I agree, I enjoyed the promo. I like a fired up Cody where there’s some passion behind the words, it makes it feel far more natural.

That's been my problem. When he was returning I was excited to see who'd he go after first.....and we got LA Knight. There was no connection to Bray's past and it just felt like a random feud that was thrown together. As someone who hadn't been watching in a while (basically since Bray had been released) I wasn't even sure who LA Knight was or why I should care that Bray was going after him.

Fan had gotten invested in his Fiend character and when he came back I think that's what fans wanted. Instead we got a whole different gimmick that no one seems to understand the point of outside of Bray. You can only slow burn something for so long until fans get tired of waiting for the payoff. and I think fans have hit that point.
 
What's the Auska/Bianca story?

Auska plays air guitar, dances around like the gobbeldy gooker and drools? Bianca looks at her weird?

What a lousy story.

She's not even murder clown Asuka lately. She's like Mom Asuka who drools and dances around.

I'm guessing we will have a "can they coexist" match in the upcoming weeks because reasons.
 
They just wanted to put the best match together and hope the match overdelivers. Pretty good bet that it will.

I'd rather they present Asuka like they did with Sting. Just hanging out in the arena, random areas instead of coming out playing air guitar with the belt and leaving.
 
I was trying to fill out a potential wrestlemania card on pen and paper, thought I'd just do it here and see what matches could be added.

Reigns vs. Rhodes
Edge vs. Balor
Lesnar vs. Omos
Rollins vs. Logan Paul
Belair vs. Asuka
Charlotte vs. Ripley
Cena vs. Theory
Trish/Lita/Becky vs. Damage Control

Usos vs. Owens/Zayn
Rey vs. Dominik
Gunther vs. Sheamus vs. McIntyre
Lashley vs. Wyatt or a replacement

Trying to fill up the card but I don't think there's anyone else that has enough status where they must be on the card with little build. Rousey will get added if she's healthy but looks like it will be a low profile match.

The only guys I can think of are guys that aren't really in feuds right now - LA Knight (Wyatt's replacement), Strowman, Ricochet, Priest, Reed, Ford, Dawkins, New Day, Solo.

I think I'm in the minority but I love battle royals and would add both the Andre (Solo wins) and Women's battle royal.
 
L A Knight should be booked on Wrestlemania. Go get some B-list celebrity for The Megastar to slap around.

Nah. It’s not you. That’s exactly what happened. It’s been what, three times now that Sami got the crowd going apeshit and Cody just casually struts out for NO REASON. I might have the details sketchy, but two of those times Cody didn’t even say anything. He’s just…there
 
So...basically, KO is the reason AEW exists...?
