Rollins is crazy over as a babyface, without really ever having a proper turn. Or perhaps i missed that. Logan Paul has a punchable face but I think he’s too awkward to play a heel. Kind of a weird in between with him that I have trouble buying into so far. The match will be interesting though.

Whatever they are doing with damage control and Becky right now is a disaster. Nobody cares about Lita or Trish Stratus.

I can’t recall Cena having delivery like that. He was always a stud on the mic but that was a different attitude and serious cockiness from him. He waited til the very end to make a penis joke! Anyway, awesome segment from Cena. It’s all the truth too. Nobody gives a f*** about Theory. I think I’m pushing for Cena to win the US Title so Theory can piss off to the isle of irrelevance, and Cena can put somebody else over

Omos and MVP? Why is this duo on TV during the run up to mania? Horrible

Cody Rhodes coming out twice just to say hey, during the shows only two high spots is also horrible. I’m tired of this guy

The Bloodline stuff continues to impress at least.

There was a point after he fended with Riddle where they started putting him across from heels instead of faces (Theory and now Paul) but no there was no official face turn

I just watched the ending right now for the first time after only reading a report last night. I wish I had seen it live because I don't know if I would caught the "swerve". I knew Jey was going to turn eventually but the way they presented may have made me second guess.

That was great. The facial expressions from Zayn and the Usos were so good, especially Jimmy. It should have ended with a beatdown of Sami though. No reason for Cody to be in that. Or if you absolutely have to have Cody run in, why not have the Usos and Solo beat him down too?

I'm starting to think that Jey should be the one to beat Reigns for the title later this year. Character wise, he is still redeemable enough to turn face against Reigns. Would be a fitting end to Reigns' title reign.

The Usos have come a long way. Up until 2020, I always thought they could never be singles wrestlers.

Jey has to at the very least be the one that costs Roman the belt.

The Bloodline story is a Jey Uso story at its very heart

Cody was seen before backstage talking to KO during the Boogs/Elias segment. It's clear his role is being the mediator/couples counselor to KO and Sami.

And it’s f***ing stupid.
It makes perfect f***ing sense after KO's comments. KO suddenly walking back on his stance OUT OF NOWHERE would have been the dumbest f***ing thing to happen since someone decided to wrote a trade proposal starting with "Kadri & a 1st...".

They built it so wrong.

So a guy who wasn’t involved in the story, comes in, has one interaction with Roman, none with the other members of the bloodline, none with KO, one with Sami comes up to KO in the back and KO is like “you know what, you saved racism, you can save our friendship, we’re good!”

Sami & KO have been involved or have been fighting the bloodline for over a year.

Cody shouldn’t have been the one to make the save after Jey turned before KO did. It should have been a moment between Sami and KO and they should have brought Cody in for the war after.

You won’t change my mind on this.

The way the set up being in the aisle told me Jey was about to murder sami...if he was on Team Sami it would have played out in the ring to me

But why would KO listen to Cody? There's no history there. Have they even interacted on screen since Cody returned?

It should have been the Usos and Solo standing tall at the end of Raw. If you have to get Cody involved, do it on the next show.

Yep. That’s my argument. It was one backstage segment that wasn’t even a segment, and that’s what makes KO come around?

“Hey bud, I just got here and I know you’ve been feuding the the bloodline for ages and I know you and Sami were best friends and have battled throughout, but you should help him!”

“You’re right!”

100% it should have been Solo, Jey & Jimmy standing over Sami to end RAW.

KO saves Sami on Smackdown and then they bring in Cody after. Not Sami & Cody bringing in KO, that’s ass backwards.

I agree with every word of this. Jey proved to be a credible challenger to Roman back before the bloodline stuff started too. I remember thinking it was weak as hell when the feud kicked off, but it ended up being quite good.

Aside from one of Sammy/KO acknowledging quickly in a promo that the bloodline is gonna lose their titles, I’d prefer that Cody have NOTHING to do at all with what’s happening in the tag match. And i wouldn’t have that mention occur until the tag match is officially announced.

Inserting Cody into the tag program in any capacity does not help it along, it clouds it. This is one of the best long term angles in the last 20 years. Cody doesn’t need to swoop in for the last two months and be the hero. It’s got nothing to do with him

The reason why they are inserting Cody is so Cody continues to get cheered. That's literally the only reason. They are booking this so the crowd does not turn on him.

Which should be enough to tell them that he’s not the guy

But nah. He’s winning, and he will save the wwe and America while he’s at it

I would have had no problem with him beating Roman at Mania... if a better story (actually two) had not organically materialized during Cody's absence. Both Sami or Jey would have been better opponents story-wise.

Cody as champion will be boring and the crowd will end up turning on him. He will be AEW Cody again and it will suck. His program with Seth last year was great though. Gotta give him that.

It’s not even like the crowd was showing signs of turning on him. But they’re so heavy handed with it that they might be more inclined now.
