Hopefully Roman's run doesn't scare them off from a long title run for Gunther.

You can sell multiple big matches here. Gunther winning the belt. Gunther vs. Brock. Gunther vs. Whoever he beats for the belt. Gunther vs. Whoever beats him for the IC belt. (Will be the only person who has pinned Gunther)

I still am going with my fantasy book of Gunther loses the IC at Wrestlemania, goes away for the summer on an MJF like vacation where he gets jacked out of his mind. Comes back and goes on a tear through everybody on his way to the title at Wrestlemania 41.

Then gets a long title run to and possibly past Wrestlemania 42. That's a very rough outline of two years of booking laid out.

I don’t know the last time he had a match that I didn’t love. Hell, he put on a hell of a show with Bronson Reed (who also had a great match himself). No matter who they put out there with him, Gunther delivers and then some.
