Fantasy/predictions, I guess

I re-jigged mine and it's similar to yours but I don't think WWE would have that many multi-person matches on a single card. Last time they did that (WMXX) it didn't work and was too convoluted. I feel like we're going to see lots of upper-midcard guys get left in the Battle Royal which is unfortunate.

Card based on no Daniel Bryan return, Orton being out passed Mania, and Roman Reigns turning heel instead of the more likely Ambrose.

8 main card matches is about what WWE usually does on average.

The World title, Taker/Cena, Divas match don't really require much explanation. Triple H vs. Ambrose in another babyface vs. the authority that screwed me at Survivor Series angle. Wyatt vs. Cesaro with Wyatt initiating the feud, cutting many promos about how Cesaro's massive popularity will falter, and do weird things like turn the Cesaro Section against Cesaro and all that fun supernatural stuff. Plus you can have Wyatt win finally without hurting Cesaro's credibility in a really good match. WWE has to get Sheamus on the card no matter what even though he likely won't have much to do around that time so I imagine a throwaway feud that none of us will care about like against a Ryback or Ziggler. I feel like the Dudley Boyz were brought back to have a last hurrah TLC nostalgia match and a feud with the remaining Wyatts would be fantastic and you get the whole family winning which is nice. Neville vs. Owens to start the show would get the crowd hot plus be a great match with an easy storyline (base it off NXT). Can also sub Sami Zayn in for Neville and have the exact same story. Depends on who is hotter at the time. Pre-show is whatever. No Rusev on the card because #WWE. Also couldn't find spots for The New Day or The Usos (who I think WWE wants on the card as well no matter what).

Show in order from bottom up. Winners italicized.

With Owens vs. Lesnar being discussed, who could possibly main event the show in the title match? Roman Reigns seems inevitable, but who would his opponent be? I don't think they turn Ambrose now. Survivor Series was the time to do a turn. Cena vs. Undertaker probably still on the table. Roman vs. HHH would be pretty bad for THE WM main event rather than "one" of the main events, and you simply can't have Sheamus walk in there as champ. That'd be bad.

I can see Sheamus losing the belt at TLC or the Royal Rumble. I don't see him keeping it long term at all.

As much as I love the Owens/Lesnar rumor, I doubt WWE will go forward with it. Still see Reigns/Lesnar unfortunately.

If they do go through with it, I think the main event would be Reigns/Cena. What they do with Undertaker would be a mystery though, I don't particularly care - give him Kane and they can do a duel retirement.

Fair enough BonMorrison, but who's HHH gonna fight then? He'll 100% be on the card.

Edit: sorry, didn't see your post above. I like that idea. Ambrose needs a big win...I could see HHH putting him over.

Owens would make it work. Lesnar is a face at this point. I just really don't believe it's happening. HHH might be pushing for it, as he seems like an Owens fan... but Vince would never go for it.

He wouldn't even give the US title payoff to Owens. How would he do this?

I feel like they would purposely put that rumor out there so certain fans have something to look forward to or a reason to stay interested.

"Tell 'em Owens/Lesnar is going to be at Wrestlemania! That'll shut 'em up!"

I hope it happens though.

Apparently, Owens vs. Lesnar, Reigns vs. HHH ans Cena vs. Taker are being discussed. If that's the case, what the hell is your title match? Reigns vs. HHH? lol. I doubt they'd pull the trigger on Owens winning the Rumble.

Watch the title match be Cena vs. Taker. I would probably be so angry that I would not watch Wrestlemania.

Of course, I would - who am I kidding? I would just be so disgruntled.

If you're not going with a Rumble win for Reigns, Lesnar, Cena, or Ambrose; then I think Owens is the best pick of everyone else. Wyatt being another.

But I think Owens should be a guy to win the belt at his first try. Having him fail doesn't really help him at all, and I don't think it's right to crown him yet. It's better long term if they build Zayn up first to make that story bigger down the line (I know I'll be disappointed, but in my head I enjoy it).

Give Owens the Money in the Bank contract next year, I can see him being great with that.

But if you want real outsider to win the Rumble, Bálor.

It would be huge for WWE to build a new star by having Lesnar win the title vs. Sheamus and then have Owens win the Rumble by last eliminating Reigns (maybe with Triple H help) and then having Owens pin Reigns at Fast Lane and then Owens pinning Lesnar at Wrestlemania to win the title and get the big rub.

If it doesn't main event the show then it wouldn't be a problem. HHH heading in as champ could work.

The match for the championship should always be last. It is the most important match on the card and should be presented as such. Even when it isn't the biggest match.

This really backfired at both Wrestlemania 18 and 25 though.

18 you can blame on the poor build to the Triple H/Jericho feud but the Orton/Triple H feud was booked incredibly. Both were victims to the much larger match on the undercard (Hogan/Rock, Michaels/Taker) that completely gassed the crowd.

Jeff Hardy vs Brock Lesnar.....

Saw some photoshopped picture of this, caught my interest. Jeff is only good when he's in a good storyline with a solid worker (i.e Punk) I think these two could put on a good match, Jeff takes bumps like a champ. I don't see Jeff winning this match in any way, but could easily muster up some high risk offence to take the Beast down a few times. I'd be entertained
