Winnipeg would not be seeking a collection of ancillary bits in exchange for a top-4 D. They have prospects coming out of their ears as it is, so you can keep the pick, thanks anyway.

They aren't rebuilding, so why would they take a downgrade to Emelin? Answer: they wouldn't.

No, the Jets already have something similar in Josh Morrissey. Nothing that Montreal has to offer is very appealing, frankly. Try calling another team instead.

There's no starting point for a trade for Enstrom. He's our best top 4 LHD, who we will need for the two seasons he's signed for.

I think MTL would do a quantity for quality deal for Pacioretty.

Something like:

Pacioretty & Emelin

Enstrom
1 quality forward prospect that is close (Petan, Dano, Lemieux etc)
1 established forward that can play top 6 (Stafford, Perrault)
1 quality D prospect that is close (Morrissey, Kichton, Stanley)
