I'm hoping for Blackwood as our 1b option next year and potentially goalie of the future.if he pans out.

Fleury
Blackwood

Binnington
Blackwood

Kuemper
Blackwood

Campbell
Blackwood

The first three options would require Nylander to be moved, the 4rh option I think we would be able to keep him. If Nylander gets moved I would hope to get Perron to replace him in the top 6 for 2M less.

THEY WILL overpay a backup (Campbell; so 2 overpaid backups with Petr lol. If you think bleeding hearts shanahan/dubas will not keep bleeding heart Jack, I don't know what to tell you. SOFT TEAM, SOFT MANAGEMENT.

2017?

2018 Andersen sucked but so did Rask

2021 and 2022 stats wise goalies were very similar in fact Campbell and Vas had the sane SV%

Vasi had the far more difficult shots is what people fail to realize.

Campbell lets in bad goals, at least 5+ this series.

How many times did he let in the first shot of the game this series? 3? We were down 2-0/3-0 before Tampa even had 10 shots cause he gets more nervous than the most anxious fans.

Too risky for me to say lol. But the Leafs know all the behind the scenes stuff and can better predict after his weird season.

Keumper is a nice option. Varlamov maybe in a trade?

The last thing you need is an inconsistent goalie with a contending team. I don't think he's the right fit for us - but would be a starter on a non-playoff team.

No team has won the stanley cup without stellar goaltending. It's unfortunate though because there really aren't better options in free agency. John Gibson would be a great trade candidate - but his cap is just way too high
Well and he's just not that good of a goalie anymore either. Gibson has below average numbers for the last 3 seasons straight.

Holtby had a .925 in 2017, Andersen a .915. Freddy also let in some pretty shite goals that cost us, especially the OT goal in game 1.

Rask wasn't great but the difference was he always shut the door when it really mattered.

CJ guessed Campbell's AAV on his next deal will probably be in between 5-6M. At that price hopefully they're out. That's what you pay a true 1A in this league and Jack is a 1B.

I'm hoping they can snag Varlamov and Georgiev this offseason.

Your last sentence is all you want from a goalie, "always shut the door when it really mattered"

Roy sv% .910
Belfour sv% .906
Brodeur sv% .912
Those are career stats from 3 great goalies from the past. All they did was make the stops when needed.

To all future Toronto goalies, SHUT THE FRONT DOOR

That's all we need is for Dubas to overpay to bring back a great guy, but one who is injury prone and has major ups and downs. And don't say all goalies have ups and downs - he went from all-start caliber to barely playable. Fairly solid in the playoffs but I wouldn't bet on Soup being part of the solution.

with Cal Peterson signed to a 5 million deal starting next season LA might look to deal Quick in the final year of his deal, if they would retain he might be an option
