I'm just glad this Indians team doesn't have the notorious Blue Jay killer, Micheal Brantley in the lineup.
He's lying.
If you just assume he's lying then yeah I guess nothing can be good news
that guy would always rake against the jays. He would hit a pair of doubles every game.I'm just glad this Indians team doesn't have the notorious Blue Jay killer, Micheal Brantley in the lineup.
Maybe he's not even who he says he is. Maybe he's an imposter.

How could that be anything but good news?

I just don't trust players to self-diagnose quick returns from concussions.
I like Estrada to start.
Rumors of Stroman to start worried me.
Wonder who is pitching for Cleveland.
I bet he's Gustavo Chacin with a mask on.

Pretty sure Chacin's real face was a mask.

Roberto Heredia Hernández (born August 30, 1980)[1] is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher who is currently a free agent. He previously played for the Cleveland Indians, Tampa Bay Rays, Philadelphia Phillies, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Houston Astros.
Hernández was a regular part of the Indians' starting rotation for six years under the name of Fausto Carmona, which he had used to obtain a visa to pitch in the United States. After his true name and age were revealed (he had claimed to be three years younger than he is), he missed much of the 2012 season due to lack of a valid visa, followed by a suspension from MLB for identity fraud. He returned as a regular starting pitcher with the Tampa Bay Rays in 2013 and the Philadelphia Phillies in 2014. In mid-2014, the Phillies traded him to the Los Angeles Dodgers.
I could be wrong, but I don't think the Jays HAD to name a starter for Friday's game, 3 days in advance. So why did they do this, why not keep that information internally until need be? It may very well not make a difference in the end, but I just don't see the benefit in revealing the starter days before. Under normal circumstances, it doesn't matter much because you can usually guess. But going into the ALCS with 4 days rest it could technically be 4 different guys. Why not keep em guessing?
You know the 4 starters you are going to face, they are putting scouting reports together for all of the jays starters.
