"intent to injure" is a joke right? That was a soft push at best sending a message for whatever reason.

Easy f***ing answer

Kreider dropkicking Price's knee

Kreider is a POS, in the past, now and forever

This cant be serious right? No way that is "intent to injure" either.

He would have faceplanted if the stick had any effects
Or, maybe, he compensates for the trip and leans back; in the speed of the moment - while also trying to shoot the puck - maybe he overcompensated and fell backward, especially to get enough power on the shot?

I also don’t have a dog in this fight, but at the very least there’s a chance there was no intent.

Nick Kypreos for whatever reason has gotten off the hook for his intent to injure Fuhr in 1996. It honestly could have ended Fuhr's career. You might say Pronger pushed him into Fuhr, but he didn't. In fact it wasn't even close. Pronger clearly pushes him AWAY from Fuhr. Kypreos almost hesitates and then bowls over Fuhr to make it look like an accident. That was nasty. If you ever wonder why NHLers do the stretches that they do look no further than the injury Fuhr got. He would come back the next year but he was out of the playoffs. You have to wonder if Fuhr could capitalize on Detroit's shaky play in the next round and get past them. Jon Casey almost did.

Not sure if it's been posted yet. Jeff Courtnall on Jamie Storr in the 1998 playoffs. Blatant crosscheck to the head with speed.

He ran the goalie, but that is in no way anywhere close to a crosscheck, it wasn't even a blow to the head (although it does look like Storr may have hit his head on the net)

Don’t know if you’d call it intent to injure but it was definitely a very intentional hit on a goalie when Hordichuk lined up Turco.

I like how Turco didn't seem affected at all by the glancing blow, didn't go flailing into the boards or anything, just played the puck and went back towards his net just as the melee set off.

On the other hand, here's King Henrik:

Eakin got four games for that one.

This one always makes me laugh too, because....well, there was no "intent to injure" or anything but clear intentional contact - and a goal to top it off.
