Most blatant intent to injure a goalie ever?

Why on earth would he have face planted? Look at the flex on the stick. It flung his left leg forward.

When a player shoots the puck, and the stick flexes like that, does the puck go forwards or backwards?

The Habs fanbase has been gaslighting the hockey community over this play for too long. Enough is enough. Nobody f***ing believes you anymore.

I love how you state this like it's fact when it's just your dumbed-down homer theory
He thinks it’s realistic in the movies when shotgun blasts send people flying 10 feet backwards.

"intent to injure" is a joke right? That was a soft push at best sending a message for whatever reason.

Easy f***ing answer

Kreider dropkicking Price's knee

Kreider is a POS, in the past, now and forever

This cant be serious right? No way that is "intent to injure" either.

The Uncanny Valley

I wasn't looking for Gretzky's dive on Smith but the terrible slash to feet that Wayne did on Billy the next game in retaliation.
Doesn't seem to be as famous and no one has posted it yet. I remember watching it live.

He would have faceplanted if the stick had any effects
Or, maybe, he compensates for the trip and leans back; in the speed of the moment - while also trying to shoot the puck - maybe he overcompensated and fell backward, especially to get enough power on the shot?

I also don’t have a dog in this fight, but at the very least there’s a chance there was no intent.

Nick Kypreos for whatever reason has gotten off the hook for his intent to injure Fuhr in 1996. It honestly could have ended Fuhr's career. You might say Pronger pushed him into Fuhr, but he didn't. In fact it wasn't even close. Pronger clearly pushes him AWAY from Fuhr. Kypreos almost hesitates and then bowls over Fuhr to make it look like an accident. That was nasty. If you ever wonder why NHLers do the stretches that they do look no further than the injury Fuhr got. He would come back the next year but he was out of the playoffs. You have to wonder if Fuhr could capitalize on Detroit's shaky play in the next round and get past them. Jon Casey almost did.

Not sure if it's been posted yet. Jeff Courtnall on Jamie Storr in the 1998 playoffs. Blatant crosscheck to the head with speed.
