I'm all for team optimism, but IMO anyone who's watched football for at least a decent chunk of time knew Danny Dimes (Pennies) was never going to be the guy. (Except for Giants ownership & management)

I remember in 2012 people on here were saying Ovy was no longer an elite goal sorcerer, he was washed, Caps would be better off trading him etc.

He had good stats outside of fumbles in his rookie year. But it was mostly bumped up by 4 great games against bad teams. But he's regressed significantly since then.

At the time Huberdeau and Weegar were traded for Tkachuk, I said I wouldn't even take Tkachuk over Huberdeau straight up.

sad that Huberdeau never went back to being a PPG player... But also incredibly happy to be wrong. Tkachuk's 2022 postseason run is one of the most entertaining things I've watched as a Panthers fan, and without him we don't win the cup.

Should have kept Saquon over DJ. That playoff win over the Vikings was the worst thing to happen to the Giants.
