World U17 Challenge

It's a talented US team. Eiserman and Hagens look like top 3 picks, Bednarik is a first round guy, and while the defense doesn't have any elite guys as of now, they're fairly deep with a lot of potential.

Really nice PP for the Czechs.. haven't scored but looks good. Jecho is a big boy. Benak isn't as small as I thought.

PP was good
PK was meh
5 on 5 was a disaster! We weren't even close.
 
That was child abuse.lol

US demolished us 7-1... on bright side, goalie was real good, Jecho scored, Jiricek looked pretty solid.

I didn't see it but..
Every time in this tournament we play the first game badly. Maybe the players don't have that confidence against a very top opponent. But in the past, even after a tragic entry into the tournament, we were able to surprise and win bronze several times. Last time too, and we lost the first match against the USA 1:10..
Now, however, the format of the tournament is different and we have to be better earlier, otherwise there will be no QF..

It was a very entertaining match if you were American.lol. I'm positive we will be better but we really had our asses handed to us lol

I'd say it settled down and we did have good looks... Kral, svozil and benak all did good things. Glad it's only 1-0

Ftr.. Canada game and there can't be more than 50 people there... Scouts and parents. I thought it'd be fuller
 
Czech PP coming up... It looked good yesterday.

I'm finding a classic Czech gap between top 6 and bottom 6. We just don't have enough horses but some ice pieces at the top.
