Väisänen-Jokinen pairing looks great might be better d age group than 2017 draft tbh.. eiserman lock for top5 next year?

Eiserman is my favourite to go #1.

Agreed that this defensive crop out of Finland looks very good.

Konsta Helenius most impressive player on team Finland, I think.
Agreed - don’t think he ended with a point but he was all over the puck today.

I thought Paqvalin looked real dangerous when he had the puck on his stick - also liked his usage on the PP.

Sebastian Soini was terrific in my view - calm, poised and collected, very good at battling for positioning when going for loose pucks, makes the game look easy out there.

Veeti Väisänen could very well be the next big defensive talent out of Finland - loved his game on both ends of the ice.

Saarelainen was everywhere on the ice. Not afraid of battling the US’s big defenders as a small guy - like the kids heart.

I expected more out of Hemming - a little disappointed in his effort.

Agree with this i thought hemming had couple good shift early 2nd period and kinda disappeared after that from us side id say eiserman, hagens, hutson and the goalie were the standouts for me also liked mitja jokinen kinda reminded of the older hutson out there

Lol i went to sleep early and put my alarm to now in the middle of the night and the game isnt even streamed

The stream started now, good

So many smallish and highly skilled players on the Swedish teams (Zetterberg, Nordlund, Sigrelll etc etc). Too bad they don't have a couple of extra inches, I guess.

Swedish PP looked lethal.

He was one of my favourite players at the Hlinka already. I was only able to watch about 10 minutes of the game tonight but he was once again the one player who caught my attention doing things others weren't doing (jumping off the offensive blue line to pinch and make offensive plays, flashing a lot of skill and great skating ability).

In summer Czechs sent a very good team to a tourney in the US and won it. Very encouraging and we went 'globetrotter'.

Now the US roster (and everyone else) will be considerably stronger and we lost our best player from that tourney (Tomas Galvas).lol

They got stronger and we got weaker... I'm still VERY excited for tonight's game!!!!

Does not matter:naughty::thumbu:

Czech goalie is busy as hell in first 2 minutes.lol If our D is our strength..

Jecho had a glorious chance shorthanded... I keep reading he's an eltie finisher.. he was not.lol

Will say... (other than the screen) the feed is beautiful! Good commentator too. Has replays... looks to be about 3 cameras. No Penalty clock but, for a feed, it's a great feed!

Czech goalie is standing on his head... this looks like a typical US vs Czech game.lol

US back on powerplay... and 2-0.

Not even close this game... Yzerman with 2 but I'd say US have had about 7 really good looks.
