Schnieder hasn't really played a big part in this tournament. All 4 Leafs players have outplayed him. Leafs 100% made the right pick in Amirov.
That must be a fine line you are using to distinguish “worse” there sonYup, a worse player than they ended up with. That's the dream
They should change it to a 5-10 second review. If you can determine within the time frame that it is offside, then its offside, if not, that means it's too close to call but would correct things like the Duchesne goal.

Tell that to the coach who sends him out there in every situation and the poise he has is incredible. Just gathers pucks off the boards and makes nice plays. He’s not flashy enoughfor you I’m thinking is the disconnect.Schnieder hasn't really played a big part in this tournament. All 4 Leafs players have outplayed him. Not sure I feel like amirov has had a good game. I think he’s been on for a couple goals against. the second goal for sure. he turned the puck over at Canada’s blue line with a bad pass if I’m not mistaken. Canada turned it back, gained the zone, established pressure and he kinda looked lost throughout the whole shift. Had a couple chances where he could have made a play and just got out worked. In fairness I feel like everyone on Russia has looked outmatched by the Canadians. Only positive play I see on Russia is abromov and unfortunately podkolzin. Hate the Canucks, but this guy is a very solid playerAbramov/Amirov look really good. Amirov work ethic is strongbtongo with the skills. Abramov see’s the ice so well and poised. Can’t wait to get them on the Marlies.
He’ll have a few of those with the Leafs, no doubt.Poor Abramov. Goal taken away because of an offside review.
I've proposed different ideas throughout. I think there should be additional linesman in the stands right at the blueline to watch for offsides. Then if a team challenges, all these linesman including the 2 on the ice would talk and if 1 of them think it was offside that is when they would review. If none of them felt it was offside in real time then it should count.Or if there was like 4 touches or one SOG or smtn. Going back 30 seconds is redonculous
Eye test has me thinking Abramov has that “it” factor. The way he moves out there looks like a future NHL star. Like PPG star.

Askarov has been a ton better since the fourth goal and is keeping them in it....Not trying to be biased but Abramov and Amirov are the only noticeable players for Russia this period.
It’s hard for anyone to look good against this Canada forcheck. They are on every puck firstNot sure I feel like amirov has had a good game. That was another good shift by him. He’s had a solid game.Schneider just dominated Amirov defending on the rush and into the boards afterwards.
