Not sure I feel like amirov has had a good game. I think he’s been on for a couple goals against. the second goal for sure. he turned the puck over at Canada’s blue line with a bad pass if I’m not mistaken. Canada turned it back, gained the zone, established pressure and he kinda looked lost throughout the whole shift. Had a couple chances where he could have made a play and just got out worked. In fairness I feel like everyone on Russia has looked outmatched by the Canadians. Only positive play I see on Russia is abromov and unfortunately podkolzin. Hate the Canucks, but this guy is a very solid player
Abramov is dangerous the way he makes plays. His decisions are top knotch

This Canada team is the perfect blend of skill and will. I can’t remember watching a juniors team dominate like this since the lockout stacked “best team ever”. Amirov has been hot and cold all night. But there really hasn’t been a lot of space. The argument of Schneider vs amirov is dumb. They are both great talents. This is easily the most noticeable Schneider has been all tournament. But he has been excellent. Wouldn’t say this is amirov s best outing, but he’s had a good tournament. Nothing to be ashamed about. Should be one of Russia’s top 3 players

Amirov looks great. Clearly above the other D that were available to us.

Looks like one of the most if not the most dangerous forward on the ice.

I am not coming on this board and hearing about Schneider and Guhle for the next 3+ years. Seriously, enough. No one cares what you think or thought pre-draft.

Besides, playing defense for a team with 12+ first round picks as forwards that don’t lose the puck isn’t that particularly difficult.

Can’t think of one Canadian player that’s looked poor this tournament.

Just think, if we had drafted Guhle or Schneider, they could have joined the long, legendary list of Leafs prospects who had suited up for Team Canada in the past .

They'd stand shoulder to shoulder with guys like Chris Didomenico, Justin Pogge, Freddy Gauthier, Keith Aulie and the illustrious Kyle Wellwood.

Amirov has looked better than anyone drafted behind him outside of Peterka and Niemela, and guys pulled ahead of him like Perfetti, Rossi, Quinn and Raymond. Even Byfield knocked out six of his seven points in one game against a D-level opponent.

Still liking the pick.

This devon levi kid has looked like a stud all tournament. I know it's canada and all that but i've been extremely impressed.

Florida might have gotten a good one.

Rangers got the right player with their pick. Amirov works his sack off. I like Amirov. Schneider was my preferred pick at the draft. Amirov has been good too so a wash
I only wanted Schneider because there’s no one like him in the system.
It doesn’t matter.

Abramov has been very very danergous. Best Russian imo. Big fan

2 goals taken back this tourney and missed 3 games yet still put up some points.
