For some reason I thought the game started at 2. I turn it on to see Laf limping off.... ugh, I was really looking forward to watching him play this afternoon.

I mean, what is location, really
By observing on the main board, it appears Canada hates their own juniors aged players more than anyone else
They *really* melt down when Canada loses. Only Lafreniere is worthy of their praise. Everyone else is a loser whose career is over.

Until Canada wins another game, that is.

It’s just blame being thrown at everyone continuously. Everyone is an overhyped prospect. Nobody has an impactful future in the NHL. Everyone is an embarrassment.

I'm Canadian and I'm a little unsure how Dawson Mercer made this team, but I think they just had a stinker. Russia had one already, I think they expected the same from that game tape and everyone is in shock.

*Not knocking Mercer, just thinking should have an older team maybe.

Canada has a very young junior team. I believe 5 returnees from last years team. The goaltending was bad especially Daws, lots of turnovers, and poor defensive play. Lafreniere is likely done for the tournament but hopefully will be back and ready for the 2020-2021 season as the 1st pick. Veleno played pretty well considering how the overall game went.

I like that he knows what he wants to do with the puck before he gets it seemingly.
I think this is the difference from Stutzle to Mysak, the vision and the thought process. Mysak I think has the tools but doesn't have that instinct or, he can't think as fast as his feet. Stutzle is very sharp in that regard. He knows what he wants to do, but can also make alternative plans accordingly.
