Holy crap what a game! Congratulations Team Canada!

Who knows how this game would have ended if the Czechs didn't have 7 hours of jet lagg in their body and with neutral refs.. well thats part of the game in Canada/World Cup I guess. Great entertainment it was anyway! :yo:

Czech deserved this one...they played a hell of a lot better than Canada. Great saves by Loungo kept them in it..

At least the fans wont be so cocky now....that was a hard fought game. I think the Czech were the second best team in the tournament. I dont think Finland will beat canada.

Vinny even tapped him to let him know he was there but he just stood there and did absolutly nothing. Ive seen him do that time and again in a canucks uniform. No wonder canuck fans despise the guy.
 
What a game! Congrats for Canada to make it in the finals! It looked bad at the end but Lecavalier made the goal! :handclap:

Have to give the Czechs credit for putting up nice show, unfortunately there has to be a loser in a game like this.

A seriously outclassed Team Canada pulls it out.. lucky. Many many people should rethink who is the REAL MVP of this team. Brodeur.
 
Yah and if Barry Melrose is watching, he (Luongo) is no Mikka Kiprusoff. Can't believe he said all three Canadian minders are "much better" than Kipper. What an ass. Brodeur is the class of the NHL for sure but the others are not clearly better than Kipper.

Anyway, I don't see how Finland is going to beat Canada; they don't have nearly the offensive firepower the Czechs have. The D will be comparable though. This was the game of the tournament IMO. The game of the last several tournaments actually, Olympic included. Awesome stuff.

Congrats to Canada and all you Canucks going ape-sh*t right now. Must be nice. :)

I can't believe people are saying Luongo played great. We're just not watching the same game. I'm pretty confident that with Brodeur this game would have never went to OT.

The trash talking on Luongo needs to stop. The 3rd goal was soft, no doubt but he made some DAMN solid saves tonight. His rebound control is not even on the same planet as Brodeur, nobody will deny that, but most of you even said it before the game: HE HAS NOT PLAYED A GAME IN THIS TOURNAMENT! Give the guy a break, he just won you the damn game.
