Now when it's Kane, Virgil, Lloris, Neuer etc go back to their clubs and wear this armband it doesnt mean anything. If the punishment is just a yellow card Neuer should still do it. Same with Lloris. Pretty cowardly by these players. There was an F1 driver that was fined for wearing rainbow shirt last year.

Subs should have been made sooner. Wales was itching for a goal the first 15 minutes of the second half. Once they made the first sub they started playing better, just couldnt finish counter attacks. Id like to think Reyna is still hurt if not there is no excuse he wasnt brought on.

I believe they announced after the game he wasn’t available today but will be Friday.

Gotta get the MLS bodies in.
Yeah don’t play Gio... the guy that can actually control the midfield and maintain the flow

Edit: just saw your post above about Reyna

Maguire sent off for a clumsy challenge in the 32nd minute. 2-2 draw.
Hopefully not. I hope Maguire plays the whole game. Better chance of scoring with him on the pitch.... and this is coming from a United fan

I recognize that my two statements contradict each other a bit but who knows if they’re just try to save face by saying that.

Can also see a scenario where player wants to play but coaching staff wants to manage minutes over 3 games, hence a knock/muscle tightness vs. being injured.

US dominated the first half...

annnnd then sat back and waited to be scoring on... tbh by the end of the game a Wales win might have been fair, had the better chances really, albeit all from 60 minutes onwards.

Need a real coach in the next few years to harness the talent coming through. Instead of having a mediocre MLS coach in charge...

I didn’t see the US sit back; they had some very good chances to take a 2-0 lead.

I missed if there was a replay, but did Aaronson pass up a header at some point, thinking there was a teammate in a better spot behind him?

Match lengths through 4 games:

QAT VS ECU: 100:18 (10+ added minutes)
ENG VS IRN: 117:16 (27+) injury, but lolz
NED VS SEN: 102:49 (12+)
USA VS WAL: 104:34 (14+)

The two latest group stage goals ever scored were today, one by Iran, one by the Netherlands.

The 4th official apparently has been instructed to "accurately account" for stoppages.

They are still about ~20 minutes short on average of accurately accounting for it aha.

Only about 57 minutes get played in the average game.
