I thought Dubinsky was picked because he drives Crosby crazy? Now he's a healthy scratch vs Canada, the team Crosby plays for? What kind of idiocy is this?

So if they only take Eichel because of his size and abilities, would he have made the difference... I don't think so.

Let's not get carried away. Gaudreau is the 2nd best American forward in the world behind Kane and would obviously be selected, even by the numb-skulls running Team USA.
 
Like a lot of Jet fans I was surprised Buff was benched last game. One reason was that Torts had said a lot of good things about him during the training camp. I'm not real familiar with Torts but noticed he said "we" rather than "I" had made the decision to sit him. Is that just the terminology he usually uses or could management have forced the issue on him? I know Burke isn't a big fan of Buff's style.

Again I didn't say they would not have taken Gaudreau. They could easily have taken Tyler Johnson if they wanted more skill. They wanted grit and truculence.
 
This game might end 6-1. This team just looks disorganized and bad. I am not one to usually blame the coach but I'm starting to come over to the idea that the U23s would have been wasted on this team.
 
Repeat burn this team down to the ground. Fire every person that was part of it's creation.
