Don't think they will get on scoresheet but both Nemec and Slaf contributed to that goal.
Nemec gets the secondary.

On another note. Not paying as much attention but Luke has a couple bad turnovers leading to chances against now. Hopefully he gets that out of his game soon.

Yeah, I'm sure it'll straighten out a little but with a d-man of his caliber and play style, turnovers will happen it seems. Kind of a « take the good with the bad » deal.

we can just hope, this isn't any indication, that fitz will resign him.
Lol no it definitely isn’t. He technically still is because his contract hasn’t run out

Slafkovsky was very noticable in that first period. He seemed to be in the right place at the right time. Almost scored a goal when he got the puck as he was backing to the goalie. I am very impressed by his hands which to me look elite level. His skating was excellent. Great body control, plays with a great pace and awareness.
I understand the opponent is France but the eye test doesn't lie. This kid can really impact a shift and that was very surprising to see.
