My concern is they seemed to be looking at his left side ribs which is what he hurt two seasons ago and then again this past season if anyone recalls the cheapshot he suffered early in the season in a game against Buffalo. Hopefully it’s just a mild bruise that will not hinder him.

I’m hardly a scout but it’s pretty obvious to my eyes he plays a skilled game. He uses his size to help shield the puck and to extend his reach and his strength makes him harder to push around in dirty areas but he’s not hitting people. Maybe he won’t but you have a guy who has enough skill to play against grown men at 17-18 and his size will probably allow him to use his skills to their fullest extent as he matures. Unlike Zacha it doesn’t seem like getting hit is an insult to him he just keeps going which is probably all he needs to do.

I watched a ton of Rick Nash back in the day when he was in Columbus, and I’d be thrilled to give Jack or Nico a winger like that. He was good for an automatic 30-40 goals - and that was mostly playing on a bunch of terrible CBJ teams, with very little help.

You're focusing too much on the "Power" part.

How about we get back to referring to them as "Forwards" or "Wings"?
