Same here.

But if he scores a couple more in this tournament, he won't make it past the 2nd round guaranteed.

Still would love to have yet another "SYKORA" in a Devils jersey even though Adam is not related to Petr.
Yes I have liked his game for awhile . However if there is a stud Russian kid that falls to the second round or a RHD that wouldn’t be seen as a reach I’d rather do that . We need more picks lol .

Denmark plays Canada next. So it will most likely come down to Slovakia vs Denmark head to head for the last quarterfinal spot.

Nobody told me there'd be days like these...

Slaf is being unfairly pigeon holed by anyone suggesting NJ woukd take him because he’s big or because they need a winger. He’s really skilled and aware on the ice. His size is just another tool he uses while playing. He’s not a power forward but he’s not soft. I have no idea how he compares to Wright but if you told me he was the player most likely to have a long successful NHL career in this draft I wouldn’t have much room to argue. His passing touch and vision may be the best thing he brings to the table along with his stick handling.

Slaf's passing is on a whole 'nother level than everyone else on his team.

no one can make a damn pass cleanly nor receive one cleanly....

He's a man among boys in that regard (so to speak).

I see Zubrus-like qualities with smoother skating and better stick handling/passing vision. I haven’t seen his shot enough to comment on it — I’d expect his finishing ability at the NHL level will be the difference between a pretty good or great player.

I’d be fine even if he becomes a slightly better Zubrus. Plug and play him anywhere in the top 9 and he helps whatever line he is on. Yes, I would be disappointed that his production wasn’t like a top line winger but I just cant see him being a 3rd line type player considering his skills he has .
